The Early Bird

The project named ‘The Early Bird’ located on a site that offers a diversity of cultures and people. The project proposes on a current parking lot of 4968 sqm lies in the middle of Jalan Pavilion, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor. The building aims to tap into the existing community where there were signs of parallel duality among the domain groups of locals and migrants. The affected by this duality were mostly by the childrens therefore, the building priotizes the social growth of the local and migrant children subsiding in the neighbourhood through a cultural exchange between both parties. Bringing the aspects of musical to attract the local and migrant was a way to create a new activity by bringing change into the neighbourhood. To challenge the current social system in the community by adding a new node that would bring growth into context and to lessen the xenophobic behaviour.
